TFF financial categories
Dealer/Intermediary, Asset Manager/Institutional and Leveraged Funds are the principal named TFF categories. Other Reportables and Non-Reportable complete the financial-futures breakdown.
Disaggregated commodity categories
Producer/Merchant/Processor/User, Swap Dealer and Managed Money are distinct official commodity categories. Other Reportables and Non-Reportable also appear, but their observations remain family-specific.
Do not merge the labels
Managed Money is not Leveraged Funds, Producer/Merchant is not Dealer, and Swap Dealer is not Dealer/Intermediary. Generic terms such as speculators or commercials can obscure these differences.
